Sakura and the rest of CCS characters
Sakura Cards and its magic…
Cardcaptor Sakura (Cardcaptors in English dubbed version or CCS as fans call it) is one of my favorite animes. Last month, I got my Sakura Cards (in CCS, these are magical cards created by Sakura Kinomoto, each of them possesses unique power depending on the card’s name). I bought it from an anime store here in the Philippines. Let’s say that it’s my reward for passing my beep test (which I found really really hard) in my PE FPF (Foundation of Physical Fitness) class.

Knowing the future…
I want a set just for collection purposes. I never knew before that these cards are used in different readings such as General Problem Reading, Romance Reading, Daily and Weekly Readings, Moon and Sun Readings, etc. to foretell the future. After learning that fact, I immediately downloaded the instructions/manual (.pdf file) from a blog featuring Sakura Cards.

The future is lying on our hands…
Most of the time, the cards were right. I found that amazing but funny at the same time. I don’t believe in cards, horoscope, fortune tellers and such things, and my views about that will never change. As they say, the best way to predict the future is by creating it. However, I really enjoy using Sakura Cards. It’s really fun. If ever, there’s nothing to lose.

  1. Thank you so much for sharing where you have gotten the english translation of the instructions. I bought a set of the cards as well and have gotten the instructions in Chinese. I bought it as a collection as well but it would be nice to know what each of the card means and how to do the fortune telling once in a while (even if I'm too lazy to). Anyways, once again thank you so so much :)! And I like the picture in of Sakura on yours better than mine, wish I could have bought mine in the Phillipines.
